Yeah, I also like the Rise and Shine Sleepy Head image as well. I drew that image pretty fluidly, especially on the characters. Plus it's one of those images that didn't need too much heavy outlining. When it comes to outlining or coloring and you tend to like how it looks overall, just leave it. That's the advice that I'll give you guys when it comes to coloring a piece.

I don't think you don't have to be an artist to take that advice. Just as long you have a knowledge about colour, lighting and contrast, you would give that word to others. It's like someone who has a knowledge of animation and cartoon history. Even though if this person can't do animation at all, but they might be admired by the works behind it.

I've posted some more work yesterday, but they haven't appeared in my album yet. Does anybody know if uploading new fan-art takes a while to go on the site? I'm just curious that's all.

yeah I kinda noticed that now it's taken more then a day to fully upload in the fanarts section nowadays ... you think that ratchet galaxy is having some technical difficulties?

Wow, even more pictures lol. No way I can keep up XD (Well I AM employed afterall, and my pics take on average 2-8 hours to do each O_O)

But anyhow, I like the new additions, especially the robot wars at the stores XD it made me laugh. And it's interesting seeing you do more serious themed pictures like the one with Kaden and Azimuth there. Very nice work with those

And fanart takes a while because it needs to be approved by an administrator I think? Sometimes it takes a day but it took days for my last stuff...

Oh alright then. I knew it had to be some kind of approval thing before the images can be submitted to the gallery, but I wasn't too sure.

Yeah, the Robot Wars and the Azimuth image were really fun to do, but those took a while to complete because I needed references for the character designs and I'll be finding more references for my next images being posted next week.

Also, the images I'm working on are mostly done with Prisma Markers, so they're quite easier to color with than pencil crayons, which needs a lot more build up to color one piece than markers. Although, there will be moments where handling the markers can bleed through the lines that can be quite difficult to fix those certain errors. Therefore, I use other mediums to tweak the images up such as outlining pens and different types of colored art pencils to make the images stand out.

Ah I see! Yeah, pencils take ages to work with but it's the only thing I'm good with traditionally and I cant afford prismacolor pencils and/or markers (they don't even sell over here too, I think)

But it's good to see you doing lotsa work lately and I'll be looking forward to seeing more too!

Well art supplies aren't certainly cheap after all. It's incredible how one Prisma Marker in Canada is like almost 4 dollars each to purchase. The only reason why I have so many Prisma Markers on me is because I could afford it at the time. The only time that I could probably get more of them these days are either around my birthday or during Christmas time... if I want more of these expensive markers.

Well I got a lot more to do in the series of images I'm working on, but my guess is that it'll take some time to complete all of them. I got other things in my mind to focus on like what I want to do in my life for instance.

Wow $4 each? Yeesh XD well I think I remember hearing that Prismacolor pencils were $5 each in Australia! Far too much for a normal person like me. But I do eventually want to get a good set of those, or the high quality Polychromos Faber Castel pencils (120 colour pack, the more colours the better!). For now I'm stuck with the hard led (and much cheaper) crayola and classic Faber Castel pencils.

And yeah, you can take your time anyways since well, you've done a lot and you almost have the most artwork on this site already but I'm sure they'll be cool to see once done =D

Thanks. I do have an adore spot for that picture too. I had a Ratchet and Clank story thought up in my head and this was one of the scenes. Basically you can call it a fan-fic I guess, but it's thought up in my head for now. Although I don't really like writing fan-fic (I prefer writing original work than something that already exists), but I do like drawing scenes that I would like to see in the Ratchet and Clank universe.

I'll post a bit more art this week, but you'll definitely not see any fan-work next week or during May. That month is pretty busy for me with so many Canadian holidays to celebrate, lots of planning to do, and my B-day is coming in a couple of weeks. But no worries, there will be more Ratchet and Clank artwork I'm working on. It will just take a while to complete and submit those pieces.

Ok I'll try to refrain from writing a crazy comment.... XD

But man, it was so cool to see these new additions I literately L-O-L'ed when I saw the picture with Dallas, Juanita and Courtney gears XD poor poor Dallas! (well, he annoys Juanita way too much anyway, with those 'pinches' in the elevator for example ) though Juanita isn't an organic hater like Gears, since she likes Ace... xD

And well, I don't wanna make myself look silly 'fangirl' but I was in glee when I saw the one with young Ratchet and Ace too. It's so cool to see someone else besides me draw him for a change love it, like it a lot!

I also like the one with the silly faces, it's pretty damn funny, especially with Neffy about to break down and start playing 'Lance and Janice' soap opera again. And the Pirate themed picture is awesome too, loving Talwyn and Ratchet's outfits!

And last but not least, the one with Sigmund building Clank is soooo cute, especially when I noticed Orvus in the background with his soul. Now how could anyone not notice the cuteness of that x3?


Ok Im done, but yeah. Very good work! It's alright if you don't (or cant) do any during May, heck, you've already done a lot anyway so it's no big deal and as for original/non-fanfiction stuff, I think it's great when an artist does that sort of thing as well, but it's funny hearing that from me since I don't actually have my own 'original series' started yet :S but I will eventually when I find the right ideas and inspiration.

Thanks a bunch C-Sigma and Tara. I just gotta post two more pics and that will be it for this month. I would of post the last two fan-works earlier, but my older sister took over the computer. What a shove a bum.
